Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Jisuan website, macOS application and account services provided under the Jisuan brand at usejisuan.com. By using Jisuan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Service and eligibility
Jisuan is a macOS calculation tool. Its current supported input host is standard HTML text input in Google Chrome that macOS accessibility can recognize. Web spreadsheets, native desktop office applications and other input hosts are outside the product scope. You must be legally able to accept these Terms, or use the service with appropriate parent or guardian authorization.
2. Accounts and permitted use
Provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not share or resell access, bypass plan limits or security controls, interfere with the service, or use it unlawfully. Contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. License and ownership
Subject to these Terms and your plan, Jisuan grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the software for your own personal or internal business purposes. Jisuan and its licensors retain rights in the software, branding and website. You retain rights in your own content. Do not redistribute or reverse engineer the software except where applicable law permits it.
4. Free and paid plans
Free and Pro features are described on the plans page. The current paid Pro offer is a one-time payment for one year of access, with no automatic renewal. A further purchase extends an active entitlement by one year, or starts a new year if access has expired. Price, currency and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Paid access is activated after payment verification; a success page alone does not confirm activation. Contact support with your order reference if access is missing.
5. Payments, cancellation and refunds
For purchases processed by Creem, Creem acts as merchant of record and its Buyer Terms apply to checkout and payment services. You can stop using Jisuan at any time. The current one-time annual purchase creates no recurring charge to cancel; stopping use does not itself issue a refund. For a duplicate or incorrect charge, missing paid access or a material product defect, contact support with your order reference and a description of the issue. We review requests against the purchase terms and applicable consumer law. Approved refunds for Creem purchases are processed through Creem, and the corresponding paid entitlement may be adjusted. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory refund, withdrawal or other consumer rights.
6. Your data and privacy
Calculation inputs and results are processed locally on your Mac. Template definitions, defaults and personal constants you explicitly save may sync to your account. Account and payment services process information needed to provide those services. Website demos do not read your real web input. Only submit content you have the right to use, and keep backups of important data.
7. Results and availability
Review formulas, units, rounding and candidate results before writing them into a field or relying on them. Jisuan is a calculation aid and does not provide financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. We do not guarantee that every result is error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted. Browser, operating-system and third-party changes can affect availability or supported behavior.
8. Responsibility and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties, and Jisuan is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. These terms do not exclude liability or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. You remain responsible for checking results and deciding how to use them.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, unlawful activity or a material breach of these Terms. Where practicable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the service and contact support about your account. Termination does not remove payment obligations already incurred or rights to remedies required by law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update the service and these Terms. The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated through the website or account service; changes do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase. For questions or disputes, contact Jisuan support using the email below so we can try to resolve the issue. Mandatory rights to seek other remedies remain unaffected.
