Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Jisuan handles information when you use our website, macOS application and account services. Last updated: September 30, 2026.
1. Local calculation data
Calculation expressions and results are processed locally on your Mac. Website demonstrations do not read the content of your real web input fields or upload that content. If calculation history is enabled, history is stored locally; managing that history is separate from deleting an online account.
2. Account and saved data
Account services process the account information needed to sign you in and provide your plan. Template definitions, defaults and personal constants you explicitly save can sync to your account. Do not put sensitive information into saved content unless you intend to store it with your account.
3. Purchases
When you buy through Creem, Creem processes checkout and payment information under its own privacy policy. Jisuan processes order references, payment status and plan entitlements to activate access, handle billing questions and review refunds. Do not send full payment-card details or passwords to support.
4. Technical information and sessions
Website and account requests necessarily transmit technical information such as your IP address and request details to the servers providing those services. Account services use session information to keep you signed in and protect requests. Operational records may be used to investigate errors, prevent abuse and maintain security.
5. Why information is used
We use information to provide calculations and account features, synchronize content you save, fulfill purchases, answer support requests, maintain security and meet applicable obligations. Where data protection law requires a legal basis, processing relies on providing the requested service, legitimate operational and security interests, applicable legal obligations, or consent where required.
6. Service providers and disclosure
Information needed to operate the service may be handled by hosting, authentication and payment providers. If you use Google sign-in, Google also handles that sign-in under its own policies. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and service security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable data protection requirements.
7. Retention and security
Account and saved information is retained as needed to provide the service. Payment and security records may be retained longer where required for legal obligations, dispute handling or fraud prevention. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device and sign-in credentials.
8. Your choices and requests
You can choose whether to save synchronized content and whether to enable local history. Contact support to request access to, correction of or deletion of account information, or to exercise other rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity; some records must be retained for legal or security reasons. You may also have a right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children and changes
Jisuan is not directed at children who cannot legally consent to its use without a parent or guardian. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information without appropriate authorization. We may update this policy and will communicate material changes through the website or account service.

Feedback and partnership submissions
Titles, messages, roles and optional email addresses submitted through Feedback & Partnerships are stored on our servers for staff to review feedback or partnership enquiries. Image verification helps prevent abuse. A random browser identifier lasts for one hour to limit repeated submissions. Do not submit sensitive financial data.
